Obedience Training for your Brain: A virtual workshop on how to stop your mind from yanking you all over the place, biting the kids, and crapping in your golf shoes

Tim O’Connor is a golf and mental performance coach, author of four books including The Moe Norman Story: The Feeling of Greatness, a blogger, co-host of the Swing Thoughts podcast, and head coach of the University of Guelph golf team. He is winner of the 2020 Lorne Rubenstein Media Award given by Golf Ontario for contributions to golf in Ontario.

To help you navigate your way successfully through these fearful times, golf and performance coach Tim O’Connor teaches you the principles of awareness and mindfulness—skills used by top professional golfers—during an engaging one-hour workshop.

Through stories from his own life and from the tour, O’Connor delivers an interactive virtual workshop that will empower you with strategies and tools to keep your mind from running away with you—during the virus lockdown, on the course, at work and at home.

“In these stressful times, it’s crucial that we are skilled in reining in our thinking and emotions so that we can effectively cope with our own reality, but also with members and staff who are dealing with financial hardships, loneliness, chaos at home, and more,” O’Connor said.

In the second workshop, we’ll cover:

  • •    Developing your awareness is a great start
    •    Just like improving your golf game, old patterns and belief systems can cause you to stall and plateau
    •    Here’s why you struggle with controlling your thinking, and how awareness can help you
    •    A non-scary Introduction to meditation for people who don’t want to wear robes

To get the most out of this workshop, you are encouraged to sign up for both days.  Should session 2 of 2 fill, a second session will be scheduled.
