About
Presently the Director of Instruction at the Credit Valley Golf & Country Club, Casey boasts an impressive resume with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University and a Masters of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Biomechanics from California State University Fullerton. She has presented research at the 2014 and 2018 World Scientific Congress of Golf, and conducted footwear research for Nike Golf. Casey was a long-serving member of the BodiTrak Advisory Board, providing insights into how to translate technical data into usable content for Golf Professionals. She is a consummate professional who uses her education and experience to assist her students in reaching their performance goals.
Casey was named the 2018 PGA of Canada Assistant Professional of the Year, recognizing her leadership, achievements and devotion to the profession. You will not only find Casey teaching on the practice range, but also in the gym helping students to move better and swing pain-free. Casey believes that it is paramount to understand each golfer’s physical capabilities and build a swing around the individual and their goals.
Most recently Casey was named as one of 8 professionals in the inaugural ‘Women in Coaching’ program developed by Golf Canada and the PGA of Canada. This initiative provides funding, coaching opportunities, and career development to the top female coaches across the country.
Casey has a very successful competitive record. In 2019, she played in the LPGA’s CP Canadian Women’s Open. She also represented Canada at the 2019 PGA Women’s Cup, as one of the top-5 club professionals in the country. Other highlights include: Medalist at the 2015 US Women’s Mid-Amateur, 2015 Ontario Women’s Mid-Amateur Champion, and 3rd at the 2018 PGA of Canada Women’s Club Professional Championship.
