A world-renowned golf coach, Gareth Raflewski is noted for helping LPGA and PGA Tour players get the most out of their short games. The success of his students—notables like Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn, and current World No. 1 Jin Young Ko—demonstrates Raflewski’s skill in working with extremely talented golfers, and refining their scoring ability.
One of the key indicators of Gareth’s success is that a majority of those that seek his tutelage have come through the personal reference of his other students. He was recognized as PGA of Ontario Teacher and Coach of the year in consecutive seasons, and was the PGA of Canada’s Teacher of the Year for 2018.
But a truly successful coach isn’t judged solely on their ability to work with elite players. Gareth, who studied engineering at university and is developing his own line of short game instructional products, spends countless hours on the range and putting green with students at London, ON’s RiverBend Golf Club, assessing their abilities and determining how to help them improve. From club champions through to juniors trying to improve their chipping, Gareth has the insight, knowledge, and patience to assist players of all abilities.
