2022 PGA of Ontario Executive Professional of the Year

1.  What did it mean for you to be the recipient of the PGA of Ontario Executive Professional of the Year award this past season?

I was always confident I was going to be a Golf Professional, but while studying Finance and Economics at Acadia University it was clear there was not other industry for me.  It's been an absolute honour to be named the 2022 Executive Professional of Year. It's a humbling experience to have been chosen by my peers for this distinguished award alongside many other incredible names in Ontario golf.  

2.    What do you hope to accomplish this season in your respective field?

I am constantly looking for growth, opportunities, and ways to give back to my industry, my club, and my community. I look very forward to continuing my journey of accumulating knowledge. This year is a very important year in our club’s history as we shape the future and direction of our club through our strategic capital plan.

3.    What are some of your long-term goals in the golf industry?

My long-term goals are pretty simple; I would like to earn my CCM designation through the Club Managers Association of Canada.  I also will be continuously looking for ways to better my club and my community.
