2022 PGA of Ontario Apprentice Professional of the Year

1. What did it mean for you to be the recipient of the PGA of Ontario Apprentice Professional of the Year award this past season?

There are so many hardworking and deserving professionals in our industry and I was extremely humbled and honoured to win the PGA of Ontario Apprentice Professional of the year in 2022. It really shows me that I am on the right path and am doing the right things at my own club and within the industry to succeed.

2.  What are you currently working on this season?

I am hoping to continue my development in golf operations, and be more involved with the PGA. This season I’ll be focusing on building my network, completing certifications that will help in my career development, and continuing to solidify my understanding of the entire golf operation.

3.  What are some of your long-term goals in the golf industry?

My career goal in the golf industry is to become a General Manager. There are a number of different ways to get there, and I am enjoying the process of learning and also expanding my network within the PGA as a whole. I have stepping stones in mind, and winning a PGA award was definitely one of them.
