Social Media Campaign

Dear Golf Industry Partners / Key Stakeholders,

Thank you for your support of the current Ontario We Are Golf partners' social media campaign to reopen golf in Ontario by sharing our unified GOLF IS SAFE #LetUsPlay messaging across your social media channels.
 
Beginning today, we are launching a second complementary social media campaign and we will once again ask for your help to share across your social media channels with the goal of amplifying the many health benefits and safety of our great game.

This social media campaign will be running alongside our current Ontario We Are Golf partners' GOLF IS SAFE #LetUsPlay campaign launched last week.

Earlier today, a letter was sent to Premier Ford from a coalition of outdoor sport and recreational organizations including Golf Ontario, Athletics Ontario, Ontario Tennis Association, Pickleball Ontario, Ontario Volleyball Association, and Ontario Soccer Association asking for the immediate reopening of outdoor sports and recreation for the sake of the physical and mental well-being of all Ontarians.

In tandem with, and in support of, this letter; a social media campaign is being launched today focusing on #GetOntarioOutside. Key messages to accompany this campaign are as follows:

• Getting kids outside is safe, and critical for their mental health. #GetOntarioOutside | #LetUsPlay
• Being outside is safe, and critical for mental and physical health. #GetOntarioOutside | #LetUsPlay
• We need to use common sense and give people the freedom to be outside, for everyone's health. #GetOntarioOutside | #LetUsPlay
