PGA of Ontario Welcomes New Board Members

A message from the President:
On behalf of the PGA of Ontario Board of Directors, I would like to extend my gratitude to every PGA member who took the time to apply for the vacant Board positions. We received an impressive number of applications from qualified candidates across the Zone, and we thank you for your interest in serving your Association.
While this process is never easy, we are confident the successful candidates will represent our entire Zone.

In 2012 Adam was recognized as the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the PGA of Ontario and introduced into the Nova Scotia Legislature for his contributions. Adam was also recognized as The Retailer of the Year for the PGA of Ontario, the Pat Fletcher National Retailer of the Year for the PGA of Canada in 2016, and the PGA of Ontario Club Professional of the Year in 2018.
Adam is big supporter of continuing education and growing his resources to constantly be improving. Known as an innovative club operator he is influenced by companies such as Disney, Ritz Carlton, and Fairmont. Throughout the years Adam has served as the Tri City Chapter lead, a PGA of Ontario mentor, and an evaluator with the PGA of Canada for retail certifications.
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Adam is now a father to of 2 and has settled in the province of Ontario with his wife. His business educational background has allowed him to focus on developing team members and mentoring young golf professionals.
"I am a proud PGA of Ontario member and I look forward to sharing my passion for the growth of our association. Our zone is a leader throughout the country and I am excited to serve my fellow members as we steer to new successes."

Cameron was the 2017 PGA of Ontario CFM of the Year and a nominee for the 2020 PGA of Ontario Class ‘A’ Professional of the Year. Cameron is a graduate of Georgian College’s Bachelor of Business Golf Management, where he served as the Founder and President of the PGA of Ontario Georgian College Student Chapter.
“I look forward to bringing my experiences and ideas to the PGA of Ontario. I’m excited for the opportunities to be a voice for younger professionals and play a role in executing the visions of the Board of Directors for our entire membership.”

Each has an established profile of success within the Association. We have added a well-rounded group of talented professionals to an already diverse group of Board members who will represent the various chapters of our Zone to assist in shaping the future of our Association for all our members.
We have three members moving off our slate who have been instrumental in the Association’s success over the last 5+ years, and three new faces who all offer a fresh perspective, diverse experiences, and strong connections to the communities they serve.
