Associate/Assistant Professional: Oliver's Nest Golf Club

Oliver's Nest Golf Club / Cardinal 18 Golf Club offer two 18 hole semi-private facilities in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes Region. We are looking for an Associate/Assistant Professional to take a leadership role for the balance of the 2024 golf season. Successful completion of this season will offer potential return for 2025 season.

We are a club in the country, not a country club and our vibe at both clubs reflects that. Things are laid back but still professional. We have fun, great relationships between departments and everyone pitches in where and when needed.

Job Summary

This is an ideal role for a Class A or Assistant Professional to expand their work experience and help with day to day operations at two busy 18 hole golf courses.

Responsibilities

Standard Golf Operations - shop shifts, event organization, help with leagues

Qualifications

PGA of Canada Member in good standing
You must have experience with Chrono Golf/Lightspeed,
Smart Serve Certification
Great customer first attitude.

Compensation

$20-$25/hour

Employment Duration

to season end - October 31, 2024 or later depending on weather

Your typical work week will be 5 days per week that will vary depending on course needs (you can expect to work one day on the weekend). There will be some lengthier weeks for events but you can safely expect to work a max of 50 hours during the busier weeks.

We are open to October 31 typically but if Mother Nature allows we will stay open later.
