A series event for the basics of club fitting with Stewart Bannatyne from Modern Golf

Session 1: Basic understanding of club fitting with terminology.

This call will be about Basic understanding of club fitting with terminology. Stew will dive into the basics and how one should approach for fittings. With the series, it will focus on shafts, lie angles, etc. We are hoping to conduct a fit on two people – one beginner to intermediate and then one advance player to see the difference in both.

Being able to connect with other Professionals increases your networking platforms, resulting in more relationships within the industry. This call is designed to get to know other professionals by learning from them, finding common interests and overall increasing your own network. You will be paired with some high recognized Head Professionals, Top Associates and New Assistants in our industry.

Deanna will be speaking about some techniques to fit women in your Professional Shop as well as some of her brands.

Casey Ward

Casey will be discussing the basic concepts of how the body relates to the golf swing and how Golf Professionals can use this information to be more effective and successful coaches.

Casey Ward, Director of Instruction at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club, has a depth of knowledge of how the body relates to the golf swing. She has a Masters degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Biomechanics, and multiple TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certifications.
 
If you haven’t, you should look into TPI and see how it can change your teaching style.
