Rushnell & Patte Partner to Win
PIN HIGH PGA of Ontario Assistants' Team Championship

(Whitevale, Ont., May 1, 2012) -  John Rushnell (Oshawa Golf Club) and  Jacob Patte(Oshawa Golf Club) were able to secure the 2012 Pin High Assistants' Team Championship win at Whitevale Golf Club in an exciting playoff. Weather conditions made play difficult; however Rushnell & Patte were able to card a 9 under 63 leaving them in a first place tie with Ron & Jim Kenesky. After both teams tied the playoff hole with par 4's, a shootout from the 150 yard marker made the difference for Rushnell and Patte. Despite the weather many great scores were seen and the Whitevale Golf Club was in pristine condition.

"We are both excited to start the year with a win," said John Rushnell. "We both played really strong today and were never in trouble. The greens were amazing and a pleasure to putt on" continued Rushnell.

"It was a very special day. I really enjoyed playing with John who also helps me with my swing" said Jacob Patte, a brand new PGA member playing in his very first event.
