Golf Supply House Extends Ontario PGA Partnership through 2013

(Pickering, Ont., - April 8, 2011) - The Ontario is pleased to confirm that Golf Supply House has confirmed its support of the Pro / Pro Championship through 2013. Golf Supply House, formerly Nearly New Golf, has been the title sponsor of the Pro / Pro Championship since 2009. Founded in 1985, Golf Supply House has been providing the golf industry with innovative products with competitive, value and integrity based pricing.

Since 2008, the Bamboomer Long Drive Championship has been one of the great highlights to conclude the playing season.

The Golf Supply House Pro / Pro Championship will be played on Monday May 9, 2011 at The Club at North Halton. 2010 Champions Bob Panasik and Ryan Hughes will once again be looking to win the season's first big event. In 2010 Panasik, 69 and Hughes, 41 defied the odds winning in a playoff to clinch their first Pro / Pro Championship together and Panasik's second of his career.
