Five Ontario Zone Members Head to Champions Tour Q-School Today

(Pickering, Ont., November 3, 2009) - Five Canadian PGA Members from Ontario will be attempting to secure playing privileges on the Champions Tour for 2010 this week. Jeff Boismeir (Magna), Dan Clark (Golden Ridge), Greg Gates (Angus Glen), Craig Marseilles (Heritage Hills) and John Rushnell (Black Diamond) will all begin the grind that is Champions Tour Q-School at two sites in Florida today.

Boismier, who turns 50 in March of 2010, will be attempting to qualify for the Champions Tour the first time while Gates and Marseilles have attempted to qualify in the past. In fact, Marseilles held a conditional Champions tour card in 2008 but only managed to gain one start on the over 50 circuit.  Both Rushnell and Clark have attempted to qualify for the European Senior Tour in the past but both players have come up short.

Speaking of the European Senior Q-School, Ken Tarling, the 2009 Ontario PGA Senior Hunt Winner will be attempting to get his card next week in Portugal.

Below is a list of players from Ontario attempting to qualify and their specific sites with links to scores.
