Loft 8° to become Presenting Sponsor of the Ontario PGA Assistants' Spring Championship

The Ontario PGA announced today that Loft 8° has agreed to become the presenting sponsor of the Assistant's Spring Championship. Loft 8° is a performance and fashion oriented golf apparel company created by an avid golfer and a golf professional.

"Loft 8° is an emerging brand in the Canadian market place and we are proud to have them as a partner," said Chris Miranda, President of the Ontario PGA. "Loft 8° has stepped up to support our Assistant Professionals' and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship."

Loft 8° was created in 2005 and in3 short years Loft 8° apparel is represented in over 400 Golf Shops globally and worn by many Canadian PGA Club Professionals as well as golf professionals around the world. Loft 8° focus is to create technically advanced golf apparel with designs that appeal to a wide range of golfers.

The Ontario PGA Assistants' Tour kicks off at the Spring Championship which takes place at the Mandarin Golf & Country Club on May 28th. Defending champion John McCann will be considered a favourite to defend his title as the driving range he owns and operates (Fairtree Golf Centre) is just minutes from the first tee at the Mandarin Golf & Country Club.
