The PGA of Ontario is deeply saddened by the passing of Frank Jess.

FRANCIS (FRANK) JOHNSTON JESS January 14, 1931 - May 22, 2016 Passed away peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 85. Partner of the late Jacqueline Mitchell, son of the late Norman and Sarah Jess, brother of the late Norman Jess Jr. and the late Evelyn Carney. Survived by his step-daughters Liz, Jennifer and Louise Mitchell, nephews Joe and Ken Carney and multiple other nieces and nephews. Owner of Golden Harvest Health Food Store for 40 years, formerly at Sheppard and Senlac and former golf pro. Frank was friendly, easygoing, knowledgeable and wise. He was a leader, a forward thinker and a strong advocate of natural remedies for health. Frank was loved and appreciated and will be missed! A memorial service and reception will be held on Saturday, June 11th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Willowdale United Church, 349 Kenneth Ave. (southeast of Yonge and Finch, north of Church Ave.).
