PGA of Ontario Teams up with Golf to Conquer Cancer

Welcome to the 2015 Golf to Conquer Cancer Tournament

We are proud to include PGA of Ontario and its' members as a partner in the 2nd annual Golf to Conquer Cancer tournament, presented by Harry Rosen Inc., and benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre - one of the Top 5 Cancer Research Centres in the World.

On Monday June 15th, Sixty (60) PGA of Ontario members are required to support the fundraising efforts at Golf to Conquer Cancer by representing themselves and PGA of Ontario as one of up to sixty Foursome Professionals that will join our participants and play at Coppinwood Golf Club and Granite Golf Club respectively.

Each PGA Professional will be outfitted with a customized Adidas Golf Shirt and TaylorMade Golf Cap as a "uniform", clearly identifying the pro from the paying guests. As a "5th" in each foursome, you will add value and enhance the participant experience by playing one shot per hole (determined by consensus from the team), and offering your wealth of experience in terms of tips, tricks and tweaks to each golfer's game (as appropriate).

To thank you for your participation, beyond a wonderful day on the course, your custom uniform, and the knowledge that you are part of Canada's largest single day golf fundraiser for the cancer cause, we will also provide you with an "honorarium payment" for your contributions. Anyone wishing to donate the honorarium back to the event will be issued a tax receipt for the full amount.

Link above takes you to the schedule for the day.
Pro’s will be outfitted on the day in either Red or Yellow Sponsor and PGA branded Adidas golf shirts and Taylormade hats.
Pro’s will have their own golf cart – and should be encouraged perhaps to offer members of foursome an opportunity to ride with them through the round where appropriate.
Pro’s will play every shot – BUT foursomes need to select ONLY 1 Pro shot per hole to use towards their score.
Pro’s are NOT eligible for contest holes and Hole In One’s.
Pro’s will take part in all breakfast, lunch and dinner components as do all paid guests.
