Gary Jeffrey cannot be stopped in the Senior Series

PETERBOROUGH, ON - Gary Jeffrey has left his mark on the PGA of Ontario Senior Player of the Year Series this year.  His Spieth-like dominance cannot help but label him the player to beat, not only in the Senior Series but in all of the PGA of Ontario's tournaments.

Jeffrey's takeover of the Senior Series started back in the spring when he championed the Senior Spring Open by one stroke, it continued at the Senior Summer Challenge when he defeated The National Golf Club's Keir Smith in a playoff.  Jeffrey was looking to continue the sweep last month at Flamborough Hills Golf Club but fell short to crowned champion Ian Doig by one.

He was at it again when the PGA of Ontario held their Senior Fall Classic at Peterborough Golf & CC on Thursday.  Jeffery was even-par thru nine, he carded one birdie and an eagle on the back side to take the final Senior Series event of the year by two strokes over David Banks.
