Professional Golfers' Association of Ontario:
 

Founded in 1927, the roughly 1300 men and women who belong to the PGA of Ontario Zone, are located at 350 facilities throughout the province, and have chosen the game of golf as a career, promoting the game each and every day to Ontario’s 1.2 million golfers. The organization builds programs to train and educate golf professionals to learn and adapt to the ever changing industry. This includes various teaching workshops, accreditation programs and industry seminars, each designed to help ensure that golf professionals remain current within the golf industry and are able to provide the expertise expected of them in their day to day functions. PGA of Canada Members in Ontario work in a number of capacities within the golf industry ranging from administrators, chief operating officers, teachers, sales representatives, expert club fitters, tournament directors, special event coordinators and tireless promoters of the game to name a few.

The Professional Golfers' Association of Ontario exists to provide members with the means to improve themselves as leaders, businesspeople, teachers, players and as active promoters and ambassadors of the game of golf.

Mission:

The PGA of Ontario is committed to improve and promote the game of golf by providing the golfing public and golf facilities with the highest quality administrators, teachers, players and promoters of the game, through superior training, education, and member development.

Strategic Direction 1:
Effectively delivering programs and services that are valued by PGA of Canada members and key stakeholders while growing participation in the sport in Canada at all levels and in all forms of participation.

Strategic Direction 2: Communicating the value of the PGA of Canada brand domestically and internationally to foster interaction with key industry stakeholders to improve the overall health of the sport.

Strategic Direction 3: Sustaining and recruiting PGA of Canada members with a strategic plan that is aligned with the National Sport Organization, Golf Canada.

Strategic Direction 4: Continuing to adopt and implement innovative practices at the national office and expand our organization’s capacity to better serve the members and the golf community at large.
